Dear curious reader, Let’s start by a slide show. Because we love atmosphere. I’d like to mention three products. The first of them is coming from Italy. In the box below (middle), a series of sample of all the dark spirits produced by the same producer Enoglam, on the left hand side, the clear spirits. Rum, whisky, brandy, smoked grappa, grapes based vodka, bergamote flavored vodka… How can one person bring so many different spirits on the market at the same time ? They look good, they taste good. A box that can be re used as a cigar humidor and obviously taking the world of cigar as visual identity inspiration. What is it ? I mentioned this product because I’m still undecided about the status of such a range of products. I did like them a lot but it left me a taste of Gattaca. References : www.enoglam.com
Last product I’d like to bring to your attention is coming from France. We mentioned the alcohols created by La Distillerie de Paris already in a post about the future of craft spirits last June 2017. We only got to taste the Maple based spirit back then. Now we can also recommend two other products. AGAVE SPIRIT and HOP & BARLEY BASED GIN. I particularly like the agave based spirits, which the product of a Paris based distillation of an agave syrup. It was everything you expect from the herbal, smoky, grassy notes of a mezcal, but with a watery and refreshing mouthfeel.
